While at Greendoor Graphics & Advertising, I had the privilege of rebranding a few of the elementary schools in our district. Longfellow Elementary has been a part of the Eau Claire community since 1885, and I preserved its legacy while infusing a fresh, modern identity. My approach focused on revitalizing the school's existing lion mascot, ensuring it remained friendly and easily recognizable to members in the community.

The primary challenge was modernizing the school's image while maintaining its identity. Additionally, I want to incorporate the school district's signature blue color scheme into the new design to ensure cohesion across all branding materials.

To address these challenges, I carefully redesigned the school's lion mascot, giving it a friendlier appearance while retaining its essence. I utilized softer lines and warmer colors to create a more inviting feel. Incorporating hues inspired by nature, I added depth and vibrancy to the brand palette while seamlessly integrating the district's blue to maintain visual consistency.

The rebranding effort successfully modernized the school's image while honoring its heritage. The refreshed lion mascot enhances the school's sense of community pride. With a cohesive visual identity across all materials, the school now stands out as a welcoming and engaging environment for learning and growth.
